What should I wear for my Osteopathic appointment?

You should wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing.

Where should I park?

Free 2 hour street parking is available on Prince street and there are additional metered spots on Telegraph Avenue.

What is your cancellation policy?

Because Dr. Bernard only books one appointment per time slot, there is a 24 hour cancellation policy. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, there is a $100 cancellation fee.

What should I know about the free skin rejuvenation consultation?

It’s best to arrive with little to no makeup. Dr. Bernard will have you describe any concerns you have and then do a thorough evaluation of your face and make recommendations about treatments and optimal skin care. Extra time is allocated in the appointment if you are ready to move forward with a non-invasive procedure. There is a $50 fee to reserve the appointment, which can be used towards treatments or skin care, or reimbursed after your appointment.

Do you accept insurance?

Alchemy Restorative Medicine does not accept insurance, but will provide a medical bill at the time of service that can be submitted for reimbursement. You can check with your insurance company in advance regarding out of network reimbursement rates for a new patient visit (99203) and follow up visit (99213.) The reimbursement claim can be filed by an App such as Better (see Resources page) which will handle to reimbursement process and provide updates about the status of your claim.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Alchemy Restorative Medicine accepts payments by cash and credit card. 

Which blood thinners should I avoid for 1 week prior and 2 weeks after procedures?
Avoid blood thinners including Aspirin, Non-steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDS,) Vitamin E, Fish Oil, Ginko Biloba, St Johns Wart, Ginseng, and Garlic supplements for 1 week prior and 2 weeks after the procedure. These drugs and herbs may cause excessive bleeding or bruising.
